Our Mission
At Guided Journey End-of-Life Care, our mission is simple: to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.
We are here for the moments hospice has to be away.
Our Services
We offer a variety of resources for anything you might need; we are the comfort keepers who are there when hospice leaves. We are NOT medical, that is why we need hospice. But they cannot be there overnight when you might need extra help. They cannot help with end-of-life paperwork, getting your will made, or any of the 1000 other things that need to be done…calls to be made, funeral arrangements, the outifit to be buried in, and what type of burial do you prefer?
Our Team
Our team right now consists of Mindy Fox Lewison, me, I have a BA in psychology and an AS in medical technology. I am a 12 year veteran of hospice volunteering, mostly overnight vigils and daily patient visits.
I became and End-of-Life Doula in 2020. I found my calling, my gift, while working with hospice. I am called to work with the dying and their loved ones.

I was accepted into the Master of Thanatology program at Edgewood College.
Thanatology is the study of death, dying and bereavement.

Mindy was integral in finding palliative and hospice care services, researching and calling assisted living facilities, and giving reading resources for grief. She did all of it in such a short amount of time that we were able to make decisions and implement care for our father quickly so we could enjoy our time with him as his children rather than his caregivers. Her fees were nominal as compared to the precious time we were losing doing that work on our own.
